The Lancaster Bicycle Club is a road-based recreational club for cyclists of all levels.
The Club carefully plans rides and related events such as bike-safety courses that result in self-confidence, physical fitness, and improved riding skills for cyclists. The Club also hosts numerous social events and supports bicycle-related initiatives through its grant program. The Club has awarded over $530,000 in grants since 1999.
Whether you are an experienced rider or new to bike riding, you can find a variety of suitable rides here on Lancaster Bicycle Club’s Meetup site. Rides are held year round.
Your Meetup membership does not mean you are a Lancaster Bicycle Club member. To eliminate the need for a paper waiver at the ride start, we require club membership in addition to Meetup. You can join today at [lancasterbikeclub.net. ](https://lancasterbikeclub.net)
For proper verification of membership we do not allow anonymous Meetup IDs. Please sign up with a first and last name in order for your request to join be approved.

About the Program.........
This program is designed to take cyclists from a five mile ride while gradually increasing their fitness level and mileage up to eighteen miles during a seven week time period. Lancaster Bike Club hopes to expose old, new, returning and current cyclists to the joy of cycling. The Bike to 30K program is open to all members of our community.

Ever wonder why we cycle? Because it’s fun! There’s nothing like riding downhill and saying weeeeeee all the way down. But if you’re new to cycling, we get it. We understand that 18 miles might be a little too steep to start. That’s why we are offering Bike to 30K!!!!
Each week, you will gradually increase your mileage. This program is designed to help you over time graduate to be a “Fun” rider while getting acclimated to the club and its members.
LBC wants to support our new members and community in meeting their cycling goals. As part of our initiative to encourage new members/cyclists to get out and cycle, we are offering the Bike to 30k cycling program. Spend just 7 weeks gradually becoming a Fun rider!!!!
LBC Bike to 30K program is designed to prepare you to ride with the Fun riders and ultimately to increase your level of physical activity. The Bike to 30k program is voluntary.
