Have you ever been wild camping in the UK? We have specifically designed this wild camping trip for a small group of beginners. We start our journey in the famous Lake District mountains and drop down to our chosen camping spot. Beware if you like your creature comforts as there is NO toilets, tv or kitchen. This is an exclusively wild adventure! Everything you need you will carry. Join us on our day trips from Manchester today. Travel to and from the Lake District included!

Day 1 - This hike will be 8.5km and take roughly 4 hours before we reach our wild camping spot. We’ll pitch our tents, cook some food and have a wander around the surrounding area. You will be led by mountain leaders Ryan & James.

Day 2 - We will start with an easy morning breakfast and start our descent roughly 5km back to the Minibus.

We welcome anyone to join us! We have guided all abilities around the mountains, and we believe there is no better achievement than stepping out of your comfort zone!

For the hike:

• Backpack (40-70 litre max) (We can lend you this for free)
• Waterproof Jacket and pants
• Walking Boots/Shoes (trainers as last option)
• Walking trousers/shorts (No Jeans)
• Fleece
• Warm Jacket
• Gloves
• Hat
• Food (Breakfast, Dinner and Tea)
• Snacks
• Flask with a hot drink
• Water (minimum 1 litre)
• Personal First Aid/medication

Wild camping:

• Cooker & Gas
• Sleeping bag (We can rent you this for a small fee)
• Sleeping mat (We can rent you this for a small fee)
• Tent (We can rent you this for a small fee)
• Food
• Warm clothes
• Torch (Preferably a head torch)

🐝 Itinerary 🐝

Day 1 - 9.00am - Pick-up - we will be pick up from the Park and Ride

11.00am - We arrive in a Lake District car park to begin our adventure.

Day 2 - 3.00pm the following day - Depart from the car park.

5.15pm - Service stop for refreshments.

5.15pm - Drop-off - Arrive back at Caton Road Park and Ride. With some great memories!
