This walk holds some of the most beautiful views in England, Striding Edge is a steep craggy ridge that follows up to the summit. If you’re looking for a bit of a scramble and have a head for heights this walk is perfect for you. Sitting high above the surrounding mountains Helvellyn gives you beautiful views 360 degrees round. It's the 3rd highest point in England!
If you love climbing mountains and you want to up the level this is the natural next step. Lots of fun!

Time Hiking - 6 hours
🐝 Itinerary 🐝
9.15am - Pick-up - Lancaster Park and Ride, we will pull up at the bus stop opposite the back car park. (Free Parking all day)
11:00am - We will arrive at Glenridding car park, a little introduction from our mountain leaders about the day and then begin our walk. (Toilet facilities are available in the car park).
5.30pm - Arrive back down from walk latest with lots of smiles! Depart from car park.
6:45pm - Service stop for refreshments for 20 minutes.
7.30pm - Drop off - Lancaster Park and Ride. With some great memories!
