Description

When you think about the Lake District, this is the postcard picture of the Langdale Pikes. Starting in the Great Langdale Valley at New Dungeon Ghyll we will head up to Stickle Tarn, a stunning tarn nestled among the mountains. Once there we will make our way round to Pavey Ark, Pike of Stickle and Harrison Stickle. Overlooking the valley, we will head back down to Stickle Tarn following the stream.

This event is in total 9.4 km and a well-rewarded day out! Once at the start of the hike, you will be led by trained mountain leaders all through the route.

A general level of fitness is required as you will be walking for 4-5 hours at a steady pace. We welcome anyone to join us! We have guided all abilities around the mountains, and we believe there is no better achievement than stepping out of your comfort zone!
