Middle Creek Watershed Walk


Details
Take a 2.5 mile walk through meadow and forested areas. There are slight inclines, some uneven surfaces (holes, roots, and rocks) and possibly some muddy areas. We will stop to talk about watershed ecology and some of the plant and wildlife (including birds - It's timberdoodle-season!). Led by a seasonal naturalist.
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Cost: Free
Bring: Sturdy shoes, hiking poles (optional), binoculars (optional), water, snack and rain gear if there is a light rain.
Signup Restrictions: Children 12 and above; service dogs allowed
Additional Directions: Please meet at the last two parking lots closest to the Visitor Center of the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.
Cancellation Policy: Activity is held rain or shine, but may be altered due to inclement weather
