Vegan Potluck Picnic

Come join us for a vegan potluck picnic to enjoy lots of great vegan food, outdoor activities, and meet new friends!

Everyone is welcome, whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or omnivorous!

Admission is free, but you will be required to bring a vegan (no animal products) dish to feed 8 - 12 people. Please also included a small index card listing the ingredients of your dish, for those with food allergies. Donations will be accepted to cover the cost of renting the pavilion, but are not required. In addition to the picnic pavilion, Fort Hunter Park also offers a variety of other amenities to make a visit even more enjoyable. The park has several trails that are perfect for walking or biking and is the northern connection to the Capital Area Greenbelt. There are also several playgrounds and sports fields for children and adults to enjoy. If you want to learn more about the park’s history, be sure to visit Fort Hunter Mansion on the grounds. Whether you are looking for outdoor recreation, a peaceful place to relax, or a chance to learn about the area’s past, Fort Hunter Park has something for everyone to enjoy. There is picnic table seating, but feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets if you prefer.

All plates, napkins, cups, silverware and drinks will be provided by the organizer, but feel free to bring your reusable items if you prefer. There is electricity available in case your dish is in a crockpot, etc.

ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES! This event is strictly limited to 60 attendees, so please RSVP early to reserve your spot! This event is rain or shine.
