• Afternoon arrivals by setup team
• Early arriving participants and guests setup their camps.
• Route assessments
• Campfires and comradery abound into the evening-NOTE THAT FIRE RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE. NO WOOD OR CHARCOAL FIRES OR BBQS.

Members and participants skilled in night navigation arrive throughout the evening

COMMUNICATIONS

Vehicle Communications
Vehicle to vehicle comms will be 2 meter for hams and/or FRS for non-hams
2 meter primary frequency = 145.555 MHz
FRS = channel 1 (no privacy code)
Secondary communication on Big Bear repeater K6BB 147.330 +, 131.8 pl

Net Control Communications
VHF/UHF - Vehicles will communicate with net control on 2 meter and/or UHF depending upon crossband repeater setups.
HF – nets will be based on available operators
APRS – turn it on if you have it for shared awareness
