What we’re about

The LandSeed Community Townhall Series is a non-profit community program that invites residents to come together to talk about housing, homeownership, and how we can build stronger, more connected communities.
It provides space for open dialogue about the real experiences people are having — from navigating the housing market to thinking about what kind of communities they want to live in.

Each Townhall session focuses on key themes related to housing and community well-being.
Discussions explore:

  • The challenges and realities of today’s housing market
  • The connection between homeownership and financial stability
  • Different housing journeys and what they tell us about access and opportunity
  • The role of community and attainable housing in supporting long-term independence

Participants are encouraged to share their perspectives, listen to others, and contribute ideas on how attainable, community-oriented living could take shape in the Ottawa Valley and beyond.
The goal is to learn from one another, strengthen local connections, and better understand what homeownership and housing security mean for the future of our communities.
