What we’re about

This is a new kind of running club — Lane 6 is for people who want to run but also reflect. It’s for anyone who feels like movement and mindfulness can belong in the same space. Check our Instagram out below!

Our Belief system:

It's a space for people who want to push themselves physically and explore what’s going on mentally, creatively, and spiritually.

We don't really stand on face value. This means that you join without the expectation of being fast, deep, perfect or any other label. You just have to be open — to running, to creating, to talking, to showing up.

Event Style:

The goal is to meet once a week for a run — focused and structured — and then we’ll have meetup in the next week for the mind. These hang outs attune to more creative thought like finishing a group book, poetry writing and reading, open discussion on chosen themes that serve the struggles and needs of the group.

This is still early and we haven't hit a consistent rhythm but if you’re in your 20s or early 30s, near Chicago, and this sounds like something you’ve been looking for — you’re invited!
