Hello Chaps, salut à tous,
Welcome to English for the Nuls — a group for French people and non-native speakers, shy speakers, rusty speakers, “I-understand-but-I-panic-when-I-have-to-answer” speakers, and all the magnificent Nuls out there.
Warning: this is a group for THE NULS ONLY.
A little test may be taken on the first day, just to evaluate what kind of Nul you are: A1, A2, B1, C1… or full poetic chaos.
After that, you will never hear about academic criteria from me ever again.
Being Nul is not a shame. It is almost a French gift. And I will make sure you become a better Nul, week after week, until the dangerous day you might accidentally become fluent.
For now, let’s focus on building your very special non-native Nulness skills.
In this group, once a week, we will have fun, speak without complexes about everyday life situations and current news, using words, gestures, facial expressions, little arrangements with the truth, and whatever helps you communicate.
No pressure. No humiliation. No “perfect English” police.
Just practice, confidence, humour, and the joy of finally daring to speak.
Come as you are. Leave a little less Nul.
