Hi,

we are planning a hike for this Saturday at Golden Ears Regional Park, meeting at Main Horse Corral parking lot. Along the way, we would like do some mineral prospecting up one of the dried stream bed at some point. This is a moderate level of difficulty which could take up to 4 hours to complete. If you have no previous hiking experience you may not want to sign up this one. I want to remind everyone to bring the 5 essentials. (See list below).

In terms of the rides getting there, we have 1 vehicle so far with 1 or 2 seats still available. First come first serve . For those of you getting a ride from someone we recommend contributing $10 dollars for every hour of driving or if you’re planning to drive, offer your seat by posting it on the group message board.

Disclosure for participants:

If you sign up for this hike you take on all responsibility for your safety and release the organizer from any liability now and the future.
