A hike to Norvan falls in Lynn Valley Headwaters Regional Park
Details
Hi,
we are planning a hike for this Saturday at Lynn Headwaters Regional park. We will hike to Norvan falls and back again to the trailhead. This hikes a moderate level of difficulty and takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete.
I want to remind everyone to bring the 5 essentials.
See list below:
-
Map / Compass in addition to a phone with an extra battery or power bank.
-
Water with sea salt as an electrolyte, food. More than you expect.
-
Extra clothing, dress in layers.
-
Headlamp and/or Flashlight with extra batteries.
-
First Aid kit bandages, antiseptic wipes, fire-starting materials and / or a lighter or water proof matches and an emergency blanket.
For rides:
We have 1 vehicle so far with 2 seats still available. First come first serve. For those of you getting a ride from us or someone else we recommend contributing about $10 dollars for every hour of driving.
Disclosure for participants:
If you sign up for this hike you take on all responsibility for your safety and release the organizer from any liability now and in the future.
Rest assured, I will try my best in the event of an emergency. But ultimately, careful planning and seeking Christ Jesus as your guide will be the best advice I can recommend.
Also, if you have any questions or concerns please text and / or call me at 604-317-9597
