Tokyo Cross-Industry Networking Meetup #1
tencups, Japan, 〒150-0002 Tokyo, Shibuya, 3-chōme−26−２１ 1F, Shibuya, JP🤝A casual international networking space for people from different industries
Are you looking for an international cross-industry networking event in Tokyo?
Tokyo has plenty of tech communities, language exchanges, startup and entrepreneur meetups, and entertainment-focused international events. However, there seem to be far fewer opportunities for people from different industries and professional backgrounds to meet casually in an international business setting.
This meetup is designed with that changing environment in mind.
Rather than focusing on one industry, profession, or specific purpose, we want to create a casual community where people from different backgrounds can simply meet, talk, exchange ideas, and build connections.
If you see yourself as part of the next generation shaping business in Japan, we hope this meetup becomes a place to exchange ideas, build new relationships, and discover new business and career opportunities across industries and nationalities.
🌈 A community built around diversity
This event is hosted by Red Look, a nonprofit organization supporting international careers in Japan.
Red Look itself is made up of people from a wide range of professional backgrounds — from sales, engineering and tech to ESG and sustainability, music, education, and more.
Many of us would not normally meet through our everyday jobs. What brought us together was a shared interest in supporting international careers in Japan.
We hope this meetup can become an extension of that idea: a community where people from different industries, professions, and nationalities can meet people they would not normally encounter.
