Creative Writing Club: 500 Words a Day - Comedy

Who:
Creative Writing Club

What:
We will meet and write short stories based on random prompts. Sometimes it’s a sentence, sometimes it’s a picture, other times just a single word. The goal is to get 500 words written in 30 minutes.

Where:
EmQuartier - Food Court Basement - 693 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand.

When:
Every Monday, 12-2 PM.

Why:
Give people a series of locked parameters in the form of prompts with a specific deadline, and they tend to focus better and learn faster.

How:
12 PM Show up with a charged laptop and grab something to eat from the food court if you like.

12:30 PM Daily writing prompt is given.

1 PM Submit your short piece on Google Drive for a critique, if you like, followed by a group discussion.

Note:
Those who wish to submit their work later to the Bangkok Comedy Sketch Show must convert it to script format and receive an additional critique before submitting to the next stage.
