The event starts at 7pm and we'll place you in the specific Pop Up Gaeltacht groups. You won't miss us, there will be a big sign with "Pop up Gaeltacht" written on it!

Note: We will be organising a paid language exchange in the same place, be aware this is not the same set up and you don't have to pay for the Pop-Up Gaeltacht. Simply walk through and join the Pop-Up Gaeltacht table.

What is a Pop Up Gaeltacht?
A Pop-Up Gaeltacht is an informal gathering of Irish speakers of various abilities (often in a bar) where they can meet and talk in a convivial atmosphere. In Dublin such gatherings can number up to 300 people, and similar events have been held abroad. Entrance is free and all levels are welcome.

Who is Flip Lingoes?
We organise weekly language exchanges and now we're going to organise a free monthly Pop Up Gaeltacht to support the Irish language. We hope you can help us bring the Irish language to life, we're really looking forward to it! 🇮🇪
