What do we do?

Every week there is a new topic to talk about, for example sports, superheroes, or music. You will not only get to practice talking about the topic, but also get to hear native speakers, and to learn about other cultures. If there is enough time, we also enjoy playing some games - relating to the topic!

About attendees

An Australian man leads Students Language Exchange now. Many Japanese people join here as well as many American, Australian, British, Canadian, Chinese, Korean, Malaysian, Bulgarian people etc. No matter where you are from, you are welcomed.

Purpose

To make connections with people between students in Tokyo, overcome cultural and language barriers and develop friendships you couldn't find at school or in your daily activities!

どんなことをやっているの？

毎週新たに話題となるトピックを選んできていてそれについて会話していきます。例えば、スポーツ、ヒーロー、音楽などなど。でもこのトピックで練習するだけでなく、ネイティブの人の言葉を聞いたり、文化を学んだりすることもできます。時間があるときにはトピックからさらにゲームをして楽しんでいきます！

参加者について

オーストラリア人の男性がStudents' Language Exchangeをリードしています。日本人の方が多く参加されるのと同様、アメリカ人オーストラリア人イギリス人カナダ人中国人ガーナ人マレーシア人ブルガリア人など多くの国の方に参加していただいております。

目的

東京中の学生同士での交流を促進し、さらには人種や言葉の壁を超えて、学校や日常生活だけでは得ることができない友達関係を作ること。
