Oktoberfest Language Exchange (Free Beer)

Learning a language isn’t about apps or grammar drills. It’s about real conversations, laughter, and the courage to keep speaking even when you don’t have all the words.
That’s what Flip Lingoes is for.
On Wednesday October 9th, we’re adding an Oktoberfest twist! With the support of Alemania Deutschschule, every participant will enjoy a free beer. And if you arrive in traditional Bavarian clothes—lederhosen or dirndl—your entrance is free!
Here’s the flow:

• 18:45–19:15 → Registration (scan the QR code to tell us your fluent and target languages).
• 19:15–20:30 → Language Exchange, powered by our “Learn by Flipping” concept.
• 20:30 onwards → Celebrate Oktoberfest with lots of fun, laughter, and new friends.
• We just ask that you arrive on time—how you leave is totally up to you. 😉

What does Learn by Flipping mean?

• Practical → Speak with fluent speakers in your target language.
• Collaborative → Every 5 minutes, you flip roles: teacher, then student.
• Fun → Small groups, a lively setting, and the energy of a bar without the chaos.

Entrance: 10 CHF (includes a tapa)

• Free beer for all, thanks to Alemania Deutschschule.
• Free entry if you wear lederhosen or a dirndl.
