Hiking, Cycling, Fun Activities and Social Events

Winter is coming, let’s escape from taipei and go to the south Hsincu county. This hiking is pretty easy only few stairs for climbing then we will walk on the natural path (rocky mountain and a lot of stones)

During hiking, we will be amazed by the natural area, trees, river, bridge and fancy cafe on the top.

Transportation : this time we will take high speed rail (THSR) because i dont know the other transportation to neiwan station from Taipei. The price will be a little bit much.

09.30 : meeting at taipei main station high speed rail station. We will take THSR at 09.46

09.46-10.21 : taking THSR
(No time for toilet, after arrive we have to reach the local train soon)
10.29- 10.33 : taking local train from liujia station to zhuzhong.
10.52-11.34 : taking train to Neiwan station

11.35-12.30 : lunch at neiwan old street
12.30-13.00 : walking to matai trail
13.00-14.30 : hiking matai trail
14.30-15.30 : afternoon tea at cafe or snack time outside around the cafe (if you dont want to buy something in the cafe)

15.30 - 16.30 : going down to neiwan station
16.47 - 17.30 : taking train to zhuzhong
17.34 - 17.48 : Hsincu train station

18.00 -19.30 : dinner around Hsincu station
20.00 : taking bus to taipei main station

What should you bring?
1 wearing suitable and warm clothes
2. Wearing suitable shoes (for Rocky Mountain) no slipper or sandals
3. Easy card / yoyo card around 300 NTD for bus and train

Expenses

1. Transportation to hsincu around 380 NTD
2. Transportation to taipei main station around 200 NTD
3. Lunch 100-200
4. Dinner 200-300 (optional)

Merry Christmas! Let’s have fun together, exchange gift and play the games and I would like to give reward for my hiking group members and a lot of gifts for you.

We also do the charity to give second hand winter jacket for indonesian fishermen and helping orphanage (optional).

it’s free (no need to pay for the food) but you have to bring food to be shared because I only order food for 25 people, so it’s not enough! Last year we had 60 people tho!

18.00-18.15 : meet up in front of exit 4 (NTUH MRT station)
I will wait for the people here is only 15 minutes. If you are late, just go to the venue by yourself)
18.15-18.30 : go to aroma cafe (7 floor)

18.30-19.00: chit chat and eating
19.00-19.45: language exchange and warm message (Christmas discussion) and christmas carol
19.45-20.30: GAMES AND REWARD
20.30-21.00: EXCHANGE GIFT

What should you bring?
1. GIFT with warm greetings and positive message. The gift price is around 100 -200 NTD
2. You can bring another food, snack or drink to be shared (for 3 people)
3. Dress code : red, green (if you don’t have those colors it’s okay you can wear black or white but if don’t have it also, you can come naked 😂 just kidding )
4. There is the award for unique Christmas costume
5. IMPORTANT : bring your food or drink to be shared for minimum 3 people (rice, noodles, cake, fruits, drinks, popcorn chicken, etc)
6. IMPORTANT: if you don’t mind, could you participate to DONATE for kids in Harmony Home. If you can join me to visit orphanage on saturday 27 december, you dont have to bring the donation.

But if you cannot go and you want to give, you can bring :

• second hand baby and kids clothes (o-5 years old)
• kid snack
• pampers
• milk powder

Or you can donate your second hand winter jacket for fishermen. (Male jackets)

You can choose one of donation or you can help for both donations.

VISITING CHRISTMAS LAND AND URBAN WALKS TO NANYA NIGHT MARKET 🥰🥳🎄🎅🥗🥙🌯
17.00-17.15 : gathering in banqiao MRT or train station EXIT 2 (outside)
17.30-18.30: circular trail for seeing the light
After that we go inside the Christmas tree light
18.30-19.30: free time visiting the stage, bazaar, Christmas tree etc
We will meet again in front of Christmas tree in banqiao mall at 19.30
19.45-20.15 : go to nanya night market
20.15-22.00 : night market time
22.00-22.30 : meeting point in the park
Go to the end of night market then look at right side you will see the big park with red lantern and the temple.
Meet me at 22.00 in the park!
22.30-23.00 : go to Fuzhong MRT station

Night market food depends on your food option (100-200 NTD)
