In 30 minutes, we’ll practice a handful of useful phrases through repetition and simple speaking drills.
It’s a friendly practice space, not a class. Come whenever it fits your schedule.
🔸 Schedule
This meetup runs on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
🔸 Material
- We use short lessons from NHK WORLD-JAPAN: Easy Japanese.
The link to the specific lesson for the day will be posted in the comments by the day before the meetup.
🔸 How it works (30 minutes)
- Listen to a short model dialogue
- Repeat together at a comfortable pace (focusing on pronunciation and rhythm)
- Practice speaking with simple prompts and guided drills

Hi, I’m Risa, a native Japanese speaker. I’ll facilitate the practice and keep the session moving at a comfortable pace for beginners.
