LSA Meetup - Casual Conversation (All Languages)

Come chat with locals and visitors about foreign languages or about whatever else IN a foreign language. All levels and all languages are welcome. Even novice learners can come to listen and get some language-learning tips! If you can’t make it right at the start, no worries. We’re usually there for a couple of hours, so come whenever you can.

Current Present Languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Arabic

Feel free to share your languages in the comments. Otherwise, just surprise us!

Here are a few things to keep in mind for these events:

• Come with an open mind and be ready to learn AND teach
• Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. We’ve all been there and most of us are still learning!
• Be ready to switch seats and connect with those that compliment your language interests
• We don’t just practice languages, we also share tips, tools and techniques for efficient learning
• Ideas for new meetup types and locations are always welcome- this group is a GROUP effort!

Overall, remember it’s basically a free-for-all to find the language you want to practice, so come with an intention and see what happens.

You want to add to your intermediate Spanish vocabulary? Bring a pen & paper and find an advanced speaker or listen in on a Spanish conversation.

Still trying to decide whether Arabic is for you? Find someone who has studied it and learn more about the language!

Want to improve your Spanish vocabulary? Bring a pen and paper so you can write down new words!
