The San Diego LAN Party Meetup Group

If you cannot make it at 1pm please post in the comments so we can plan around when people are arriving for games, food etc. If you find you cannot make it PLEASE change your RSVP status so we're not waiting for you to arrive.

Our focus is PC gaming. However if we've got a light crowd we can make space for board games or retro console games like rock band etc. If the garage is full though we'll be playing PC titles together.

Make sure to have your steam account credentials available to log into when you arrive. As we use steam heavily to connect to each other via our steam group
Also suggest downloding and logging into the steam app on your mobile device before arriving for faster authentication.. Android / Apple

Around 5pm we'll be either ordering food, or take a break to go get food individually. It's not a bad idea to bring a couple of $5-10's to be able to split the bill

The computers are already setup in the garage with the LAN games patched etc. Bringing your own rig is not necessary.

These games support at or around the numbers of players we'll be hosting and we can help you install them if you're bringing your own rigs. Otherwise the loaner PC's have all these games ready to go and we encourage if they're available to use them up first to keep install times down and game times up. We also need everyone's help to play TOGETHER. the idea is we all play the same games throughout the day to be able to fill them up. Feel free to suggest other games assuming they can support the number of attendees in a single lobby and people don't have to buy them.

LAN-A-THON Schedule:

Friday:
4:00pm - Doors Open! Make sure to bring your pre-filled waiver for a quick check-in and easy setup!
6:30pm - Artemis Bridge Simulator!
11:00pm - Who's ready for some rock band?

Saturday:
10:00am - Doors re-open, feel free to arrive as early as 9:00am to setup your gear!
12:00pm - Lunch! Hope you're hungry because we're planning on doing some BBQ!
4:00pm - Raffle time!
6:00pm - Dinner, Pizza, thanks to Fatty's Pizza for all the good grub!
After Dinner - Couch CO-OP!

Sunday:
12:00am - Dodgeball / Volleyball anyone?
??:??am - Wakeup whenver, it's a party!
4:00pm - Cleanup!

All weekend: Open console area, including some old school hits. Demos including Oculus Rift, etc. We'll also be doing some pickup basketball, volleyball, and pool sports
