Firestarters: Spark a Flame

Join us for the inaugural Firestarters meetup — a new series designed to build community across all experience levels in Lansing's tech scene!

Whether you're completely new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, Firestarters is your space to connect, learn, and grow. This series aims to encourage participants to:

• Meet others in the Lansing tech community, maybe check out other Lansing Codes events
• Contribute to our open source repositories
• Share your knowledge by speaking at Get LIT Lansing (our upcoming local tech conference)

This first session will serve as an introduction to the series, our facilitators, and fellow participants. Come ready to meet new people and discover how you can get more involved in Lansing's vibrant tech community!

Refreshments: Hot cocoa bar provided


Format:

• 15-20 min: Welcome, refreshments, and warm up
• 30-45 min: Introduction to Firestarters and community opportunities
• Remaining time: Discussion and networking
