Kids Demo Night at tinkrLAB!

tinkrLAB

This month is all about the cool things kids are doing in tech! We're looking for school-aged presenters to show whatever fun, geeky gadgets, robotics, coding, and other STEM projects they're working on. If you're a kid or know one who's got something to show, bring it out and tell us about it. Families are also welcome to come watch and help their kids become inspired. If you want to demo, email Erik Gillespie at [masked] to reserve a spot. If you need any special plugs or anything, let him know about that, too, but keep in mind that demos should only last about 5 minutes each. Here's our schedule for the evening: • 7:00pm - Pizza & chatting • 7:30pm - Demos start • 8:30pm - Wrap up This is your chance to geek out about cool new things and make some new friends. There will also be pizza and drinks, generously provided by our co-sponsor, TEKsystems! We hope to see you there!

Tech demo night! 👾

MSU, Comm Arts Sci

Have you made something that you're proud of? Is there a hot new app you want everyone to know about? What about that startup idea you've been working on in your garage? Did your kid take apart the remote control and reassemble it into a time machine? If it's got tech, bring it out and show it off! Anyone who loves or makes cool tech can present, including kids! (Grown-ups aren't the only ones who can do cool things on a computer.) • 7:00pm - Pizza & chatting • 7:30pm - Demos start • 8:30pm - Wrap up If you want to demo, let us know in advance by arriving early or commenting on this meetup. Email your slides and/or project to Erik Gillespie ([masked]) one day before the event so we can avoid connecting a bunch of laptops. Remember that demos are short, like 5 minutes or so. Demos sent ahead of time will go first, in the order received, and we'll do as many as time permits! Geek out! This is your chance to geek out about cool new things and make some cool new friends. There will also be pizza and drinks, generously provided by our co-sponsor, TEKsystems (https://www.teksystems.com/)! We hope to see you there!
