**Event Description:**

This event will be an opportunity to get feedback from fellow writers. Whether your project is still an early draft or fully edited, you are welcome to attend. If you are not in a place for receiving feedback, you are still welcome! You may treat this time as you would a Free Write event, just please be aware that there may be some distractions.

*How it works:* This event is in person, but sharing work will take place on Google Drive. You will add a premade worksheet to the first page of your work that will allow you to communicate to your readers the level of critique you would like to receive as well as what you are most interested in receiving comments about. This worksheet will be used by readers to cater their feedback to what you are seeking.

A link will be sent to all people who have RSVP'd to this event on Thursday, December 11th for the group's Google Drive and further instructions on how to submit. If you would like the opportunity to read before the event on Saturday, please feel free to do so.

The event on Saturday will include time to read work shared, make notes, and time at the end to discuss one another's work. The duration of this event is often dependent upon how many attendees we have.

*What you will need:* Access to and a working knowledge of Google Drive. Your piece can be any genre or style but should be a length that can be reasonably read in 10-15 minutes.

This event will be held at Taste Coffee Co on Okemos rd between the 96 exit and Sandhill dr. Parking is free in the adjacent parking lot.

\*\*This event is limited to 15 spots due to the size of the venue. Please make sure to keep your RSVP up to date. If all the spots are taken, you are welcome to join the Waitlist. If someone removes their RSVP, you would be added to the attendee list on a first come, first serve basis.

**COVID precautions:**

Masks are not required for this group, however, they are always respected if you choose to wear one. I always have hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes in my bag for events. All attendees are welcome to them, please just let me know.
