The Basics Series is three classes. Same as the Basics Workshop only broken into three 2-hour chunks. They can be taken in sequence, or individually. The series is designed to help build a strong foundation of understanding.
To you struggle with motion blur, muddy or "blown out" photos? Getting the “right” quantity of light on your sensor is an evasive goal for most photographers.
Understand how a light meter calculates exposure. Become aware of the limitations and potential for errors a meter can have.
Exposure Triad – This is the balance of ISO/SHUTTER/APERTURE.
a. ISO – How it is THE most important thing to optimize the use of natural light
b. SHUTTER – Not understanding Shutter Speed results in Motion Blur, There are many creative ways to use the shutter.
c. APERTURE – Probably the hardest to understand but least significant part of the triad. This and proximity impact Depth of Field.
d. Deciding - How to know which to adjust and when.
This class will get you on the road to understanding why you have blurry, dark or overly bright images and how to compensate to get some GREAT shots.
If you want to register for the Series, you will need to register for each class separately but pay for it at the start of this first class.
Cost – $30
