Photo Shoot With Pro Modern Dancers in Old Town!

Glenn Douglas Packard is as a big time pro choreographer. He has a dance school called INstitute of Dancers. Look it up on Facebook and YouTube. He has worked with stars like Michael Jackson, worked on half time shows, featured in Dance magazines, recognized by NY Times. Read MORE about him:

We were introduced to him by Pastor Tom Arthur, also a Meetup member. Bill and I met with Glenn after watching a jaw dropping rehearsal and agreed to setup a shoot for the meetup. Here is what we came up with.

We will meet in Old Town at Turner Park along with around 20+ of his dancers. We will break down into teams of 2-3 photographers and be assigned a 2-3 dancers to work with for about 20-30 minutes. You will also be assigned a shooting station which will be:

1. Turner Park / Blues Graffiti Wall
2. The Fish Ladder Amphitheater
3. The River Walk
4. The Alley between parking lot and Turner
There may be more added depending on the turnout.
5. The Elvis and musicians Mural

At the end of your time the dancers will rotate left and the photographer rotate right so that both get the most experience with different dancers, photographers and and settings.

Photographers HAVE to share their best photos with Mark who will put together a master shared folder broken down into photographers names for all of the dancers and photographers to share. Please include you full name and email address when submitting. I prefer a dropbox but you can also use the Adobe shared files or virtually anything else. I will figure it out.

I NEED RSVPS for this event so I can be prepared. You are encouraged to bring any off camera flash gear you might have and be prepared to share it with your colleagues. I will be providing a couple of systems.

This is a going to a very unique and exciting opportunity for some VERY talented dancers to work with some VERY talented photographers and create some unbelievable images. Hope you can make.
