Welcome to LA Chess!!
The City of Angels has been long known for its lively, fun, and welcoming casual/pub chess scene! Almost all of the clubs work together to hold events nearly every day of the week! Each club has its own character/vibe, and we encourage you to check them all out!
Most of the chess clubs and chess socials meet on the same day weekly, with the exception of “the Medallion Challenge”, one of the most unique and longest running chess pop-ups, and the LA Chess Social, which holds events exclusively once a month.
BTW: Most LA clubs primarily use Instagram to update members on their organization news.
