Medallion challenge

Win our clubs chess medallion and then attempt to defend it from challengers. At this Venice Beach pop-up, contestants compete for the medallion (and 5 dollars)... the winner keeps the medallion for 7 days! But they must return the following Sunday to defend their title.

This chess challenge has existed in Venice Beach for many many years. It is less of a chess club, and more of a pop-up chess challenge.
