Long Beach Chess Club – Sunday & Tuesday Meetups

Who’s Welcome:
Anyone who loves chess — from absolute beginners to seasoned players. All ages, all ratings. No membership fees.

What to Expect:
• Casual, friendly games (blitz, rapid, casual time controls)
• Players often bring their own boards & clocks, but don’t worry if you can’t — there’s usually extra gear floating around
• A welcoming atmosphere where people help one another, analyze games, and just enjoy chess together

When & Where:
• Tuesdays at 7:00 pm — at Trademark Brewery, Long Beach
• Sundays at 4:00 pm — at 2nd & PCH, near the fountain (Beachwood area), Long Beach

Cost:
Free to play

Tips / Notes:
• Arrive a little early if you want to set up or challenge someone
• Bring your own chess set & clock if you have them
• This is a casual meetup — don’t stress about your rating or experience
