Overcoming Development Inertia with... well- Inertia

This month, we’ll be teaming up with the Atlanta Vue.js MeetUp to explore the features and advantages of Inertia.js in a Laravel and Vue 3 application. We'll also delve into some of the best new features of Vue 3 and its new Composition API.

In the world of modern web development, there are several popular approaches to both front and back end architecture. It can be challenging to anticipate all of the upcoming project needs and select an approach that is most suitable. Should your backend be monolithic or should you break it up into modular pieces? Should your front end be server rendered, or should you go the JAM Stack route and shoot for that really slick SPA user experience?

Inertia.js is shaking things up offering the best of both worlds. In short, Inertia offers the premier user experience of an SPA (no page reloads) while retaining the architecture of a server rendered page. We’ll be using a publicly available demo app, so attendees can bring their machine and show up ready to tinker.
