Because of the Cubs historic win on 10/22 and their first World Series game in 71 years coinciding with our originally scheduled meetup in October. The meetup in October is moved to November 29th.

Notifications were introduced in Laravel 5.3 with the intent of making it easy to send messages across multiple channels. In this talk, we'll quickly go over the basics of the feature, and then dive into some more interesting customizations and use cases for Notifications.
We'll talk about:
• Using and Testing Notifications to send messages via Email, Slack, and Text
• Building custom "notifiable" classes
• Custom message classes
• Customizing Notification templates
• Building a custom message provider for your messaging platform of choice
