Large scale product development involves high levels of complexity and risk. Programs that involve hundreds and sometimes thousands of team members are becoming ubiquitous. Leaders increasingly seek more structure and process clarity to lead such initiatives at scale. In this session Kamlesh Ravlani will discuss Large scale product development with Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) framework. LeSS is a empirical framework based on Scrum, to re-design and descale your organization to scale value delivery. LeSS is Scrum applied to many teams working on one product. Scrum is almost linearly scalable, hence LeSS framework elements are essentially the same as one team Scrum. LeSS is well balanced between empirical process control and defined elements to work with 2 to 8 teams. LeSS helps organizational re-design to focus on customer value. LeSS-HUGE a variant of LeSS, and provides guidance for working with more than 8 team initiatives.
