About us
The English Language Learning program at the Largo Public Library is a free public service for adult students who want to learn English and improve their language skills. ELL volunteers assist English language learners by demonstrating strong English skills, providing patient, caring, and flexible support. Volunteers who work with students develop learning approaches that are suitable for the student's ability and needs; create inclusive and balanced learning environments; involve student/s in the decision-making process regarding their learning. Provide guidance in the understanding of community literacy, life skills, and American culture.
