Details

Please listen to your mind body and soul and use discretion whether to participate on days that have high heat or high levels of air quality index.

A variety of tai chi and qigong exercises. Note: this is not a class but a practice or 'play' session, it is helpful to know the fundamentals and basic postures of tai chi, or it can be optimum if you are open to trying new things with no judgements. The only bad tai chi and qi gong is unsafe tai chi and qigong with bad intentions.

  • I suggest you bring a water bottle, sun screen and hand sanitizer or hand wipes. Tai Chi fans are also used.
  • Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes, sandals or flip flops are discouraged unless you plan to 'barefoot' it.
  • We will meet between the two fountains: Phelps or "turtle fountain' and Heffelfinger fountain, overlooking lake Harriet.
  • Note: we will have two areas, one open for partly cloudy skies and one shaded in case it is too sunny, within 50 yards of each other. Look for the bright cones.
  • Parking: $ Pay lot parking is available and plenty of free parking available if you are willing to walk a bit..
