Madrone Canyon / Lark Creek Walk (Larkspur)

Lace up your walking shoes and join the Larkspur Walking, Hiking, Biking, Meetup Group for a beautiful trail walk along the Lark Creek in Madrone Canyon. Walk through the redwoods along the water. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned hiker, this event promises nice views and a peaceful walk. We'll explore the scenic trails, enjoy the fresh air, and challenge ourselves with various terrains. We did this hike a couple of times and it was great, the weather is predicted to be good, so come on out and meet some folks!

Estimated difficulty: 3 (1 to 10): This hike has a couple of small hills on it, so it will be a bit more challenging then the Crown Rd flat trail, however it is not a strenuous hike, and the last 3/4th of it are pretty flat and the hills are not steep or high.

Time estimate: About 1 hour or 1.5 hours or so

Parking: We are changing the starting point to improve the parking. Let's meet at the corner of Magnolia and Piedmont Rd. (3 Piedmont Rd). We have better parking on Piedmont than Magnolia, so I think this will be a better starting location.

Meeting location: Start of Piedmont Road, where it meets Magnolia Ave in Larkspur.
