Madrone Canyon / Lark Creek Walk - Dawn Falls (Larkspur)

Spring is just around the corner and it's time to lace up your walking shoes and join the Larkspur Walking / Hiking, Meetup Group for a beautiful trail walk along the Lark Creek in Madrone Canyon. Walk through the redwoods along the water which is flowing nicely now. We are going to go up to Dawn Falls and back.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned hiker, this event promises nice views and a peaceful walk. We'll explore the scenic trails, enjoy the fresh air, and challenge ourselves with various terrains. We did this hike a couple of times and it was great, the weather is predicted to be good, so come on out and meet some folks!

Estimated difficulty: 4 (1 to 10): This hike has a couple of small hills on it and the last part to get up to the falls is a bit of a hike up. However it is not a strenuous hike overall.

Time estimate: About 1.5 hour to 2 hours

Parking: We will meet at the beginning of Piedmont Rd - lots of parking on the street.

Meeting location: Start of Piedmont Road (3 Piedmont Rd), where it meets Magnolia Ave in Larkspur.
