We’re excited to partner with STABLE Dog Training for a special community pack walk in Santa Clarita to celebrate Tiger's birthday! 🥳🎉
Whether you’re a regular at our walks or joining us for the first time, this is a great chance to explore the neighborhood with your dog and connect with fellow dog lovers from two amazing communities.
Our walk will cover approximately 2 miles at a comfortable pace through mostly paved park paths.
Central Park gives us plenty of real-world distractions to work around. Expect other dogs, people, bikes, kids, and activity throughout the park. It's a wonderful opportunity to practice calm neutrality and good leash handling while enjoying a walk with our community.
This walk is extra special as we'll be celebrating Tiger's birthday alongside our friends at STABLE! We're excited to bring everyone together for a fun morning. 🐶🎂
One of our favorite parts of these events is bringing people together. Pack walks are a chance to strengthen the bond with your dog, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and show the community what responsible dog ownership looks like when handlers come together with a shared goal.

REQUIREMENTS: Participants must submit a member form and participant release of liability each year. Click here to submit one. If you don't recall completing one this year, please do so now.
RULES:
The first rule of our pack walks is to BE SAFE so everyone has fun! All participants must comply with ALL guidelines below or will be asked to leave the event.
- Participants are limited to 22. RSVP is required to hold a spot. If you know you cannot attend, cancel your reservation as soon as possible. We understand last-minute changes happen; however, if you don't show up more than twice, you will be placed on the wait list for future events.
- If you feel even slightly ill (including a headache, sniffles, minor fever, or even an allergy), do not attend this event. Stay home for your health and others' safety. Remember to cancel your reservation.
- Maintain a 6-foot distance from other participants not in your household.
- Face mask/shield is optional. Please maintain a 6' distance from anyone choosing to wear a mask.
MEETING LOCATION: We'll be meeting at the stairs at Central Park for this walk.
Please check your map and directions before arriving, as Central Park has multiple parking lots and entrances.
PARKING: There is a large parking lot, which can be confusing. You can technically park in any of the lots, but to avoid a long walk, the easiest route to the meeting spot (stairs) is to enter the parking lot, turn right, and go all the way down to the last parking area.
WATER AND TREATS: Bring lots of water for you and your dog.
PACK WALK DISTANCE: About 2 miles roundtrip throughout Central Park.
TRAIL: Mostly paved trails.
DIFFICULTY: Moderate
DISTRACTION LEVEL: Moderate-High (squirrels, park visitors, sports, bikes, other dogs [there's a dog park], and kids)
LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES:
#1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control.
#2 PLEASE NO NOSE-TO-NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog, that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction.
#3 Please bring doggie poo bags.
#4 Bring water for you and your dog.
#5 One dog per handler. No exceptions!
#6 Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass.
- All breeds welcome.
- Foot traffic, bikes, and several other dogs will be present. If your dog tends to be reactive to any of these distractions, please be EXTRA mindful and prepared.
