Mosaic Coaster Workshop

Create something colorful, creative, and totally one-of-a-kind in this beginner-friendly mosaic workshop.

In this hands-on class, you’ll design and make a mosaic piece on a 6" tile—perfect for use as a large coaster, trivet, or small tabletop centerpiece. We’ll start with a brief introduction to mosaic basics, then move into planning a simple pattern and arranging pre-cut square ceramic pieces to bring your design to life.

You’ll learn how mosaics come together piece by piece, with guidance on layout, spacing, and color balance. Once designs are set, you’ll grout your piece and reveal the finished look—always a favorite moment.

This workshop is relaxed and approachable, with plenty of room for experimentation and personal style. Whether you’re drawn to bold color palettes, simple geometric patterns, or organic, free-form designs, you’ll be guided through each step of the process.

You’ll leave with a finished, functional mosaic piece and the confidence to continue exploring simple mosaic projects at home—perfect for everyday use or gifting.
