Resin Geode Workshop

Discover the magic of epoxy resin—an increasingly popular medium that transforms into a sleek, high-gloss finish once mixed and poured. With endless possibilities for color, shimmer, and movement, resin is perfect for creating bold, eye-catching designs inspired by natural stone.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn essential tips and techniques for working with resin as you create a set of agate geode slice inspired (i.e. fancy rock) coasters using silicone molds. You’ll experiment with color pigments, metallic accents, and special additives to build layered, crystalline effects that mimic the look of real geodes.

Once cured, your pair of finished coasters will be both beautiful and functional—perfect for protecting surfaces while adding a touch of artful sparkle to your home.

No experience needed—all materials and supplies are included!

NOTE: Resin requires about 24 hours to fully harden before it can be removed from the mold. You'll need to leave your project in the studio to cure and then pick it up another day.
