What we’re about
Mujeres yMontañas is a Barcelona based meetup group for Women who would like to explore Catalunya.
🤝The group
You may have just moved to Catalunya or you may have been born here, this group is for new and regular hikers to meet likeminded people whilst connecting with nature.
Group members are from all over the world, so you are very likely to meet someone from your country of birth or to share common languages.
You can hike as you wish, whether you choose to talk with others, or hike in silence, there is no pressure, we only ask for you to be kind, respectful and polite to others.
💰Hikes take a lot of time and effort to research and host, so we ask that you give a small payment of €5 for each hike.
📱Useful phone apps
*what3words > is an app that can give a location up to 3 meters sq. Perfect if you ever lose your way!
*maps.me > gives you access to offline maps
*Citymapper > gives you transport options for Barcelona and all other cites around the world.
If there are another useful apps, please let me know and I will share it with the group.
