Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS) such as Git have quickly become the de facto version control systems for development shops of all sizes. Their draw is the power and ease brought to branching and merging. Gitflow is a pattern used with Git (or any other DVCS for that matter) that establishes a framework for managing features, bug fixes and releases.

Thomas and Michael will walk you through Gitflow, demonstrating its application to the entire development lifecycle from development to QA to Continuous Integration to deployment. You will leave this presentation having learned the key role Atlassian tools play in this lifecycle, bringing automation and traceability to your development process.
