What we’re about

Welcome to the Las Vegas Cruisers

We are not a club, there are no dues, no clubhouse, and no required meetings. We are a Meetup group of people that get together and ride. Although there is a core group that does sport a patch during these rides.

We are a fun, laid-back, and responsible riding group that loves to ride and have a good time. We plan short rides here in the Las Vegas Valley, and longer all-day rides to various destinations around Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California. Taking the scenic routes, we like to travel back roads, canyons, and rural highways. We love the gorgeous Mojave and Southern Nevada areas.

We plan morning, afternoon, and evening trips (mostly Saturdays) of 50-300 miles and some weekday rides.  We do breakfast runs, lunch runs, bike night at Mr. D’s and all kinds of scenic stops and adventures. We also participate in various charity and poker runs throughout the year. Our rides are safe and well organized and led by experienced group riders. Our rides will vary in attendance from 6 members up to 20+ depending on the trip, but normally we have about 8-12.

We welcome everyone who rides a motorcycle or trike that can do highway speeds. There is no drama or politics in our group, we are motorcycle enthusiasts, who love to talk about and live our passion...Motorcycles, is there anything better? I don't know.... top 3 at least.

If you love to group ride and get out and meet some great new people and have a great time, you will find it here.  Come join the Cruisers on a ride and have a great time!
Our group attracts mostly large cruiser touring-style motorcycles (preferred) and trikes.  Although we do not accept Slingshots. For our longer rides, we prefer that you ride a bike with a larger fuel capacity to eliminate excessive fuel stops.
Many of our riders prefer to ride double file or otherwise known as; side-by-side or lane sharing, and many also ride staggered. This is entirely up to you as the rider. Understand the difference and ride the way you feel most comfortable. (Please see picture of formation styles)

We prefer that you stay about 2 bike lengths apart to prevent cars from getting in between the pack. Maintain your throttle control, no rubber banding and no cruise control for those who are NOT leading the ride.

Once you have your spot in the pack, please remain in the spot for the remainder of the day's ride. This will allow the lead to know if someone is missing.

In terms of order of who rides in what position,
1.     Rider - 1 (front left) is the Lead for that ride and a patched member.
2.     Rider - 2 (front right) is the Road Captain for the day and watches the pack and assists in maintaining order throughout the ride.
3.     Following are all the patched members.
4.     Then the remaining non-patched riders
5.     Then Trikes
6.     Then Tail Gunner - This rider will keep the group tight and block traffic when needed.

For hand signals, we use the basic motorcycle hand signals, (Please see picture for hand signals.)

Feel free to reach out to us with any inquiries or comments, safe travels.
