Join us for a relaxed Drone Community Picnic & Fly-out at Mission Hills Park!
Hosted by AERO AI + the Las Vegas Drones Meetup Group. All skill levels welcome: Part 107, hobbyists, and curious first-timers.

### What to expect

• Networking + knowledge-share with local pilots
• Safety briefing & airspace review
• Open flying zones (beginner pad, photogrammetry/demo area, FPV with spotters)
• Show-and-tell: quick tips and community shout-outs
• Light snacks & drinks provided (feel free to bring a blanket or chair)

Drone(s) & controller, fully charged batteries, spare props, SD cards, landing pad (if you have one), tablet/phone, sun protection (hat/sunscreen), water bottle, and anything cool you want to demo.

### Do this before you come to fly

• Check airspace in B4UFLY/LAANC and get authorization if required.
• Ensure registration (if applicable) and Remote ID is active (or module attached).
• Update firmware/maps; set RTH altitude; verify geofencing unlocks if needed.
• Bring your Part 107 card or TRUST certificate (hobby) and label your aircraft.

### Safety first (fly at your own risk)

• Keep VLOS at all times; no flying over people or roads; max 400 ft AGL.
• FPV requires a visual observer.
• Use the designated takeoff/landing zone and yield to landing aircraft.
• Be courteous to other park users; if unsure, land and ask a mentor.

### How to find us

We’ll set up by the large open fields, look for the AERO AI banner, orange landing pads, and blue shade canopy. A dropped pin will be posted in the event comments the morning of.
