Las Vegas Women’s History Walk
Details
Join us in honoring the Legendary Women Who Built Las Vegas with a walking tour on Fremont!
Women were building Las Vegas behind the scenes—and often in front of it. They owned property, ran operations, and broke barriers that changed the city forever.
We would love to share this with you on a 75-minute walking tour of Fremont where we tell their stories.
We will begin on Stewart Street (outside the Mob Museum) with a story about the First Lady of Las Vegas, Helen Stewart. Then walk down Fremont visiting some of the most impactful locations of the early to mid 1900s.
- Meet the women who built Las Vegas - Helen Stewart, Mayme Stocker, Sarann Knight Preddy, Pilar Santa Cruz, Eliane Wynn, and more
- Visit early casinos—loopholes, codes & secrets revealed
- Walk the red-light district that sparked Fremont Street
- Discover the rule-breakers who reshaped the system
- Uncover segregation, the Westside & the fight for a seat at the dealers table
This walking event is a preview of our exclusive women’s history month tour.
Space is limited and we will be snapping images that we will use for the coming month in social media.
