First ever Jane Austen Book Club Meeting!

Since this is the first meeting we will start with introducing ourselves and share our favorite Austen and non-Austen books along with maybe a fun fact about yourself if you feel like sharing. Then we will have a round table-type discussion for those who have read Sense & Sensibility before and those who are brand new to the fabulous Elinor and Marianne Dashwood. I will have some prompts to get us started but I hope to keep things fairly informal.

About the Book:
Marianne Dashwood wears her heart on her sleeve, and when she falls in love with the dashing but unsuitable John Willoughby she ignores her sister Elinor's warning that her impulsive behavior leaves her open to gossip and innuendo. We will start with introductions for any newcomers, share our favorite Austen and non-Austen books along with maybe a fun fact about yourself if you feel like sharing, and then dive into the discussion. For anyone joining us for the first time, expect a casual, round table style discussion. I will have some prompts to get us started but I hope to keep things fairly informal.
