This exciting event is your chance to explore the stunning beauty of the Emerald Cave through a thrilling kayaking adventure. Join Adventure Child at Willow Beach Marina for a day filled with fun and unforgettable memories. Kayak through the crystal-clear waters and marvel at the emerald hues of the cave. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to experience nature at its finest!

Please note we always meet on Nevada PST time.

We will spend 5 minutes to 20 minutes discussing kayaking safety tips and techniques. We will show you how to correctly enter and exit your kayak, turn quickly, handle any small boat wakes that might come your way, and paddle in reverse to turn your kayak around. We will also cover how to utilize our tandem kayaks best if you are in a double with a partner.

On the way to the Gaugers Station, we will see a couple of beautiful beaches, underwater trees, and emerald green waters and pass by the Willow Beach Fish Hatchery. We will safely dock our kayaks at the beach and take a 3-5 minute walk up to the Gaugers Station, where we will see the original site for the Hoover Dam.

We will take some time to marvel inside the world famous Emerald Cave. Although the cave is not huge, we like to say "What light does to this water is just magical" -Helen Howard
