Leadership Walk at Willie McCool Regional Park
Details
Hosted by Ken Fogarty and Maria Antonietta
The Leadership Walk is back! Last December, a great group joined us for a Saturday morning in the desert, and we are doing it again. Join us at Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, one of the most beautiful spots in North Las Vegas, to slow down, connect with good people, and recharge.
NEW MEETING SPOT THIS YEAR
We meet at Willie McCool Regional Park, 4400 E Horse Dr, North Las Vegas, NV 89131, in the main parking lot off Horse Dr next to the model airplane field.
This is NOT Floyd Lamb Park and NOT last year's Aliante kiosk.
Please use the address above or the map pin.
The plan
• 8:00 AM: Meet in the parking lot for a quick welcome and introductions
• Walk about four miles at a relaxed pace through open desert and the fossil bed badlands
• Halfway: a short leadership conversation led by me and a wellbeing talk led by Maria
• About 10:00 AM: Back at the parking lot
What to know
• Restrooms (portable toilets) are available at the park.
• Bring a full water bottle, sunscreen, a hat, and comfortable walking shoes.
• This is not a difficult hike, but there are a few spots where you will walk up or down small hills.
• Friendly dogs on a leash are welcome.
• Please join at your own discretion -We are not responsible for any injuries.
Why join us
Fresh air, light movement, good conversation, and two different perspectives on leadership and wellbeing. It is a simple way to reconnect with yourself, meet great people, and step into the weekend with more clarity and energy.
Bring a friend. Everyone is welcome : )
