(Please read in full) Hey Ladies! Let's enjoy this lovely spring weather with a picnic by the water in beautiful Floyd Lamb Park. This Scenic park has natural springs running through it, lots of beautiful wildlife, lush vegetation, and scenic views of the Sheep and Spring Mountain Ranges.
There are some small BBQ pits and picnic tables. The BBQ pits are very SMALL, so if anyone has a grill or hibachi they can bring, that would be awesome! Please inbox or call me and let me know. Most have my cell, or post here in the comments.
Bring a side dish, fruit, or dessert to share with our wonderful group as well as something to grill; steak 🥩 burgers 🍔fish... If you fish, bring your gear 🎣. I'll bring some Charcoal Briquettes. I need 2 other volunteers to bring some as well. We need a couple of those long lighters & charcoal starter sticks.
Camp chairs, or cushions/blankets are a good idea for the picnic tables as the benches are hard. Sunglasses 😎 Sunscreen. Bring water at the very least, or your cooler with ice cold non-alcoholic drinks of your choice. (Park rules: no alcohol, no glass.)
This will be fun! We can enjoy some nature and this beautiful 80 degree spring weather for a change, rather than a crowded restaurant. There's a parking lot on the left. If you have a Handicap sticker or are a Veteran, parking is free. Otherwise, it's $6 per vehicle. Any questions? Please reach out to me. See everyone there!
