Get ready for Nanowrimo!

What is Nanowrimo? It’s short for National Novel Writing Month, and we celebrate it each November. (Check out https://www.nanowrimo.org/ for more details on Nanowrimo.)

Join us as we plot our way to success! Have an idea or a character in mind for a book that is driving you crazy? Are you in the middle of your novel and stuck? Are you thinking of writing your first book? If the answer is yes to any of these questions then bring your ideas to our June LVRW Chapter Meeting where we will work together to flesh out those ideas and get you started on plotting your novel.

No need to bring anything other than an open mind and the willingness to help others who’d like to share their own plotting ideas. We’ll provide some guidance on plotting, then we’ll break out into small groups for the beginner writer, intermediate and master levels. Share as you wish or just listen to others and soak up all the creativity. What are your hero and heroine’s greatest fears? What are their greatest desires? How does this create moving, believable conflict that carries your readers away? We encourage our seasoned published authors to attend and participate. When was the last time you exchanged plot ideas in a fun, creative environment with your peers?
