Global Game Jam event at the UNLV Stan Fulton Building

Details

This event isn't being hosted by the UE4 meetup, but there's a Las Vegas location for the Global Gam Jam planned this weekend.

You're supposed to sign up on that website, RSVPing on meetup.com doesn't sign you up for the game jam!

The official Global Game Jam start time is 5pm Jan 31st, but I've been told that you can arrive there as early as noon.

I want to add some notes about something that most people probably don't concern themselves with, about possible legal technicalities about using Unreal Engine for the Global Game Jam:
The Global Game Jam wants projects uploaded under a specific "Creative Commons" license (https://globalgamejam.org/legal-policies)

I'm not convinced that uploading a compiled UE4 game under a CC BY-NC-SA license is allowed by the UE4 EULA: https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/345491/view.html
It looks like there's parts of the engine that aren't allowed to be distributed under that license.

Perhaps people wouldn't be breaking rules if they just uploaded the source code/assets that they made during the game jam with a CC BY-NC-SA license, plus an additional license that grants people the right to use it with UE4? I'm not a lawyer and I don't know, just some thoughts.
